We are proud to be an Institutional Partner for the 8th International Wildland Fire Conference that is being held at Alfândega do Porto Congress Center, Porto - Portugal! Save the Date: 16-19 May 2023.
We are proud to be partners in this event and to further the mission of responding to the severe and widespread forest fire seasons worldwide.

Last year, the Association of Independent Firefighting Experts (SNEP) organized the Forest Camp for the first time. Over 100 participants and instructors from 8 countries gathered there.
Participants will familiarize themselves with the most current knowledge and will be able to apply it in practice under the guidance of experts. There will be plenty of exercises with fire, innovative solutions and interesting surprises. During the course, we anticipate to have around a dozen themed stations, where we will present the necessary knowledge for safely and effectively extinguishing forests in an accessible manner. There will also be an opportunity to get acquainted with product innovations from renowned manufacturers of firefighting equipment.

The National Workshops were conceived to help stakeholders understand the Cohesive Strategy and see themselves as part of the solutions to wildland fire issues across the nation. The Workshops helped to build and strengthen relationships, support Cohesive Strategy activities, and facilitate Cohesive Strategy implementation.
